Meeting with Congresswoman Lowey

Congresswoman Nita Lowey (center) at her White Plains district office.
During the meeting, several topics were discussed including the Congresswoman's support of IDEA, her involvement with the Congressional Autism Caucus, the Medicaid Waiver and HUD Section 811 Supportive Housing for Persons with Disabilities. Mrs. Schaffran also detailed the history of DMLC, the relationship between FECA and Devereux and extended an invitation to the Congresswoman to visit the center at her earliest convenience.
